Drought level falls again in Minnesota

(St. Paul, MN)  —  The level of drought in Minnesota has fallen again this week.

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor map shows more than 60-percent of the state is drought-free, up from 41-percent last week.

Parts of northern and southeastern Minnesota are still abnormally dry or in moderate drought.

This week’s readings show the level of drought in the state is almost exactly the same as it was one year ago.
